Under two miles away, E11
Alloy Wheel Repair in Leytonstone
Wheel Repair Ltd refurbishes alloy wheels at its workshop on Nursery Lane in Forest Gate, under two miles from Leytonstone. Most E11 customers drive down and leave the car. A mobile visit is available where that is awkward.
Why Leytonstone drivers use us
Wheels are refinished properly, not touched up on the kerb.
Faces re-machined on a lathe, not painted over.
Almost nothing off Church Lane has off street parking, so a mobile visit rarely works here and we will say so rather than turn up and find out.

What people say
The damage we see most in Leytonstone
High Road Leytonstone. Parking along the High Road is tight and angled, and a nearside front that has been nudged in against a high kerb is the single most common wheel we see out of E11.
The Hollow Ponds run. Whipps Cross Road and the road across the ponds are fast and uneven in places. That is a buckle rather than a scuff, and you feel it through the steering rather than see it.
Commuter parking off the Central line. Leytonstone and Snaresbrook pull drivers in from further out who leave the car all day in streets they do not know. A rim nudged into an unfamiliar kerb at eight in the morning is a job we see a lot of.

Covering Leytonstone
- High Road Leytonstone
- Church Lane
- Grove Green Road
- Whipps Cross Road
- Bushwood
- Harrow Green
Leytonstone is under two miles from the workshop, straight up through Harrow Green. The streets off Church Lane and around Bushwood are Victorian terraces with permit bays and no driveways, which is why most E11 customers bring the car to Nursery Lane rather than ask us to find a space. Towards Whipps Cross there is more room and the newer blocks have parking off the road. Where coming down does not suit, a mobile visit is the option.
Common questions
Do you cover Leytonstone and E11?
Yes, all of E11, including Bushwood, Harrow Green and up towards Whipps Cross. The workshop is on Nursery Lane in Forest Gate, under two miles away.
I have no driveway. Does that rule out a mobile visit?
Usually yes, and that is the honest answer rather than a sales one. We need somewhere safe and legal to work, off the public highway. Most people in E11 find it simpler to drop the car with us.
The steering shakes since I came across Whipps Cross. What is that?
Usually a buckled rim. It comes off and goes on a jig so we can see how far out it is. Some straighten, some are cracked as well, and we will tell you which yours is.
Can I bring just the wheels in?
Yes. If you have a spare set, put the damaged ones in the boot and bring them down without the car.
Is it worth refinishing wheels on an older car?
Sometimes not. If a wheel is corroded through or cracked in the wrong place you are better off replacing it, and we would rather say so than take the work.
What do you need from me to give a price?
The make and model, and a photo of every damaged wheel taken square on. Daylight rather than a streetlight, because the colour matters. We will come back with a written price.
I park at Leytonstone station all day. Can you do the wheels while it sits there?
No, and nobody should offer to. A station car park is not somewhere safe and legal for us to work. Drop the car at Nursery Lane on your way instead, it is under two miles.
Do you cover Snaresbrook and Whipps Cross as well?
Yes, both, along with Bushwood and the streets running off Grove Green Road.
