Two miles away, E10
Alloy Wheel Repair in Leyton
Wheel Repair Ltd refurbishes alloy wheels at its workshop on Nursery Lane in Forest Gate, just over two miles from Leyton. Most E10 customers bring the car or the wheels in. A mobile visit is available if parking makes that easier.
Why Leyton drivers use us
Wheels are refinished properly, not touched up on the kerb.
Faces re-machined on a lathe, not painted over.
Not every wheel is worth refinishing. If yours is past it, or paint makes more sense than a machined face, we will say so before you spend anything.

What people say
The damage we see most in Leyton
Lea Bridge Road. It is busy and it is patched, and a rim that drops into a bad patch at speed comes away bent rather than scratched.
Match day parking. When Orient are at home, the streets round Brisbane Road fill up and cars go into gaps nobody would pick, hard against the kerb.
Painted faces, not machined. A good share of E10 wheels are painted silver rather than diamond cut, which makes a kerb scuff a straightforward job to put right.
Not sure which yours is? Send a photo and we will tell you.
Covering Leyton
- High Road Leyton
- Lea Bridge Road
- Francis Road
- Church Road
- Capworth Street
- Coronation Gardens
Leyton is just over two miles from the workshop, up through Leytonstone, so most E10 customers drop the car down and collect it later. Around Francis Road and the streets off High Road Leyton it is terraced with permit bays. Towards Lea Bridge Road there are newer blocks with parking underneath. Where coming down does not suit, a mobile visit is the option.
Common questions
Do you cover Leyton and E10?
Yes, all of E10. The workshop is on Nursery Lane in Forest Gate, just over two miles away through Leytonstone. Most people bring the car in, and a mobile visit is available where that is easier.
I hit a pothole and there is a shake through the steering. What is that?
Usually a buckled rim. The wheel comes off and goes on a jig so we can see how far out it is. Some straighten, some are cracked as well, and we will tell you which yours is.
Is it worth refinishing wheels on an older car?
Sometimes not. If a wheel is corroded through or cracked in the wrong place you are better off replacing it, and we would rather tell you that than take the work.
Can I leave the car with you and get on with my day?
Yes, and plenty of people from Leyton do. Ring first so we know it is coming, then drop it at Nursery Lane and collect it when it is ready.
There is a crack in the rim. Can it be welded?
Sometimes. A crack in the right place can be welded and refinished. One across a spoke or into the mounting face is not worth trusting, and we will not send a wheel out like that.
What do you need from me to give a price?
A photo of each damaged wheel taken straight on in daylight, and the make and model of the car. That is normally enough for a written price.
What is the difference between a painted wheel and a diamond cut one?
A painted wheel is colour and lacquer. A diamond cut wheel has its face machined on a lathe so bare metal shows through, which is why it has to go back on the lathe. There is more on the diamond cut page.
Do you cover Leytonstone and Lea Bridge as well?
Yes, both, along with Whipps Cross and the streets round Coronation Gardens. If it is E10 or the E11 side of Leytonstone, Wheel Repair Ltd covers it.
