It is terraced nearly all the way, permit bays and very little off street, so most people drive up and leave the car rather than hold a space open for a mobile visit. Not for us, but they are why so many E13 wheels get kerbed. There is very little sidewall to take the hit, so the rim goes first.
I have just bought the car. Should I get the wheels done?
Send a photo before you spend anything. A scuff that looks bad often is not, and a wheel that looks fine can still be bent, so it is worth knowing which you have.
What is the difference between a repair and a refurbishment?
A repair puts one bit right. A refurbishment strips the whole wheel back and refinishes it so it matches. On a kerbed wheel the second one is usually what you want.
Is a mobile visit the same job as the workshop?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Some work can be tidied up on a visit, but a proper refinish needs the workshop, and a diamond cut face needs the lathe.
Can I come and look at the workshop first?
Yes. Unit 3, 13 Nursery Lane, E7 8BL. People do call in to see the work before they leave a car with anybody, and we would rather you did.
